Today is grey - so I've been playing with black and white (and grey) photography. Sometimes colour distracts from the essence of an image - puts a cheerful tone on a sombre story, takes away from form and substance, moves the eye from texture. Herewith a couple of B&W shots...
Zen is a strange concept. For me it's more than 'simplicity' which seems to be what most europeans view it as, it's much more like being timeless/now/suspended... Here are some photographs that feel zen-like for me.
